The first weeks of your baby’s life are magic. With every passing day, your new baby grows and changes. Newborns are soft, squishy, flexible, and haven’t fully adjusted to life outside the womb. Newborn photography is the perfect way to freeze time, so you can capture your newborns itty-bitty, changing features before your baby enters the next stage of childhood. In a calm and intimate setting, I will work with you and your new baby in capturing the sweetest moments that you want to remember forever.
IN HOME NEWBORN SESSIONS
I take a lifestyle & candid approach to at home newborn photography because I believe the best photos capture genuine moments and emotions, not forced poses. I want to create images that transport you back to that moment in time, and evoke the same feelings you had when the photo was taken.
During your newborn session, I'll be focused on capturing portraits of your sweet new baby, as well as those in between moments - the laughter, the silly faces, & the quiet moments of tenderness. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, so you can be yourselves and let your personalities shine through.

NEWBORN SESSION
The best photos happen when you're fully engaged in the moment, whether that's sharing a laugh, bonding with your soon-to-arrive baby, or simply enjoying the outdoors.
I'll guide you with a laid-back, natural approach, ensuring you feel comfortable and true to yourself. If there's a need to pause for a baby feeding or a little comforting, we have the flexibility to do so, resuming once everyone's settled.
I'll cue you on when to look at the camera; otherwise, I encourage you to relax, be in the moment, and enjoy yourselves. Let's take this time to take a breather, have fun, and make some meaningful connections with your new baby.

Newborn photography is about celebrating you and your family, through and through. When you choose to work with me, you're investing in more than just photographs. My photography style is relaxed, candid, and documentary, keenly focusing on the subtle nuances and exchanges between you and your loved ones. Throughout your session, you'll find me documenting the genuine, spontaneous moments as they happen, as well as guiding you with prompts, poses, and thoughtfully selected cues.
THE NEWBORN PROCESS
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN BOOKING YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
➊ Securing Your Date.
You’ve checked out my work, understand my approach, and feel like we’re the perfect fit. The next step is to reach out and get your due date on the calendar. When you book your session, you’ll give me with your expected due-date, which I’ll put on the calendar to ensure I have plenty of availability in the surrounding weeks. Due dates are just an estimation, of course, so this date is by no means our settled session date — just a way for us to keep track of things as we plan for your newborn session.
After you enter your estimated due-date, you will sign a contract and provide a 50% retainer as a gesture of your commitment to an amazing newborn session.
➋ Collaboration.
All of my sessions are completely collaborative, and I strive for my photography to truly reflect the intimate idiosyncrasies of the families I work with. For this reason, it’s important for me to get to know you as well as I can in the lead-up to your newborn session.
Once you’re due-date is on the books, you will be provided with a questionnaire where you can express your vision, goals, and expectations for your newborn session.

My top priority (for newborn sessions in particular) is to provide constant guidance, and to ensure that every detail is taken care of for you.
Once your baby makes their entrance, you can just shoot me a text, email, or call and we'll find a time in the following week or so to finalize a date for your session.
