I'm all for making sure you get the best experience possible, even if that means suggesting another photographer might be a better fit for you. After all, how you feel during the shoot really shapes how you'll feel about your photos later.

Of course, we'll get some posed shots at the start of the session, and I'll pat down any flyaways I notice along the way. But really, I'm all about embracing the unexpected and letting the session unfold naturally.

    Instead of forcing them into stiff poses or begging them to smile, I encourage kids to be themselves and let their personalities guide the session.

    Whether that means playing a game of tag, exploring the natural surroundings, or simply running around, I believe that these moments are what make family photography so special.
